so, i literally spend half my time @ the store, and every time i go, i end up buying huge bags of fruit. i have a like 10 lbs of grapefruits, 10 lbs of oranges, 4 huge granny smiths, and 4 pears..now, i know the sugar in fruit is different than white sugar, and supposed to be healthier, but how much fruit per day is just too much ? im always way over on my sugar, so thats one thing im wondering about..normally i wouldnt worry too much, but i am so hungry for fruit lately, and i dont think my family will help me too much with the stuff i have, so i want to eat it all before it starts going bad..any thoughts ?

Some doctors believe that even fructose from fruit can cause problems if eaten in excess. Two to four daily should be ok unless you're diabetic. You can go to mercola.com and search "fructose". There is a fructose chart listing the amounts of various fruits.

I think as long as you don't have issues with your blood sugar you are totally fine. It makes me sad when I see people give up fruits completely because of the sugar. Really you are gaining more from the other things in fruit than you are losing by eating fructose. As long as it fits within your calorie limit, you should be fine.
