good vs. bad cals and health vs. weight

Let me start by saying I think the majority here "get it." But, I read a lot of people soap boxing about good vs. bad cals not mattering at all. (cals in - cals out) What I don't see is people making a distinction between weight and health in those arguments.
Fact- you can eat crap and drop weight, but you will sacrifice (or worsen) your overall health in the process. (or to those that would argue that lighter is healthier, you could drop weight and improve your health to a much greater extent)
I have no dog in this fight, as I know the difference... but I see people seemingly hanging on the words of others who might not have realized some of this yet. If they ate crappy and have lost a few pounds, that doesn't make it right or healthy.
Sure I could eat fried XXXX and XXXX and drink beer every day and probably lose weight but that doesn't mean I will be healthy doing it.
***** If it's worth your effort to log it, and live it, then why not ensure you do it in a healthier way? Your body will thank you by feeling better and being healthier.
Best to all- (that was my rant for the month.)

Love this. Just because you can eat back your exercise calories or are still under your calorie/day limit doesn't mean you should eat crap.
Sure treats are good but its about being healthy, not just the numbers.0
