Evening All,

I am currently a long time user of another website but thought I would give this one a try. One thing that I have noticed at the start is that there doesn't seem to be an option to deduct the background calories from exercise calories that I have manually entered. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to do this or do I need to perform manual calculatiokns?

Thanks,

Peter

What do you mean by background calories?

this site calculates how much you should be eating and adjusts when you enter exercise

You should always be eating your "Net Calories" and eat back your exercise calories that you burned,

Your boby burns a certain amount of calories per hour reglardless of what you are doing. If I am doing an hour of Cardio then the calories that I would have burnt just from sitting in the office are classed as background calories and would normally be deducated from total exercise calories. You also mention that you should always eat your net calories, however I assume you mean over the preiod of one week and not on each day?
