So i have been thinking about how many calories i burn just working my 8hrs everyday. I stand all day and am on my feet all day. No sitting besides my 30min break. Thats even if i take a full 30min break. Just wondering if anyone knows how many calories you burn by just standing for a long period of time like that. Plus i just don't stand im always running around the salon helping people. So i feel like i burn calories at work. Just very curious..b/c i use to waitress and i no i lost weight doing that for years.. any help would be great!! thanks xx

Calories from just living don't count. The body is expending energy and burning calories just keeping you alive. Standing, sitting, regular walking, bending, etc is what the body was made to do. You aren't burning any significant calories engaging in regular activities.

If you really want to "track" it get a Bodybugg or Fitbit or something like that. Or do a random estimate of like 250 calories.

Stuff like this is really hard to estimate.

Cheapest: If after a few weeks you're losing weight too fast or feeling really run down, clearly you underestimated your calorie burn and should eat a bit more. If you're losing weight too slowly, you probably overestimated your calorie burn and should eat a bit less.
