I haven't tried to make on yet because apples don't seem like they would produce the right texture for smoothies, but I am curious to know if anyone else has tried it? If so, what do you think and what is your suggested recipe?

Thanks!
Ryan

Interesting thought. Chobani Greek yogurt makes an apple cinnamon flavor. Might be good in a smoothie.

First thing that came to mind was sugar-free apple sauce.

    Hey there-

Here is the recipe to the one I make. ENJOY!

1/2 cup frozen apple juice concentrate, not thawed (Or use sugar free apple juice and add ice cubes)
1 cup cinnamon applesauce, such as Mott’s brand ( I use sugar free apple sauce most of the time and add a tsp of ground cinnamon instead.)
1 1/4 cups vanilla or plain fat free or light soymilk
1 1/2 cups low fat vanilla frozen yogurt (I use normal yogurt instead of frozen and add some ice cubes)
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice (Or all spice)
