how many calories to eat

i have seen lots of posts saying to eat the cal you burn, but it just seems like to much. i start off with 1600 for the day, and by the end of the day it says 2300. now id love to sit down with a big bowl of pasta and cheese, but i know that is how i got here. anyone else have this high of cal intake? just doesnt seem right to me

I eat 3000 ish calories a day.
Here is a tip though, if MFP is calculating your exercise calories, eat 50-75% of them. MFP tends to over estimate often.
Also, high calories doesn't mean eating bad food. I eat very clean at 3000 calories. Protein shakes peanut butter, avocado, nuts and cooking in olive oil will help get those extra calories and full of healthy fats.0
