ADDICTED (HELP!!!!!!!!!!!)

Every day that I'm too busy to go on mfp, I quickly write down everything I ate that day. I haven't entered anything in my food diary in a week. I even forgot to write down some of the foods I ate. I ate realllllly bad this weekend and I think that was because I knew I would just forget what I ate and not have to see the "minus whatever calories" in my food diary.
I really don't feel like recording everything I ate this whole week. It's like I'm addicted to finding out how many calories are in food. If I don't find out, I mess up. Does anybody else have this problem? If you have advice for me, I'd appreciate that!!!!!!!!!

Do you plan your meals in advance? That usually helps. You should write everything down. When you do, it makes everything very real. I have little journals I use to keep track of my calories instead of MFP because I find it takes too long to type everything in., but that is me. I also use the calorie book by the Calorie King. It lists a wide variety of foods and also packaged foods that I find helpful when I am unsure of how many calories are in something. You might want to look into that too.
Getting into the habit of writing things down, takes awhile to get used to. You just need to be patient and realize that not everything will fall into place overnight. It certainly hasn't for me and I have my bad days, but I acknolwedge that and don't let it get me down.0 -

I've had the exact same problem this weekend =[
I've been eating awful, not exercising, and not entering my foods because of the fear of seeing how much I go over. I end up feeling bad and going back and entering some days, but you just have to remember that entering the foods and following the diet is going to end up being worth it!!
Good luck!0 -

Good idea. Where do you find the Calorie King books????????0 -
Walmart has the Calorie King Books for under $10 .
If you want to know more about calorie king here is their link http://www.calorieking.com/0 -
You can find it at any bookstore or online. There are a ton of calorie books out there, but I like that one in particular. It does help and it also lists pre-packaged foods and Trader Joe foods (if you have one you can go to). It is handy. There is also the website that is pretty comprehensive as well.
Good Luck.0
