eat fruit and veg!! I have got IBS, and again I have tried to incorporate both of them into my menu, but it has started to upset my stomach and also give me trouble going! (sorry).

When I went to docs they thought I should just eat the white stuff, as too much fibre doesnt sit well with me.

Has anyone had a diet of just eating balanced meals but without the fruit and veg?

thanks

It's going to be difficult... But there are some vegetables that don't have a lot of fiber. Try recipes with potatoes, pumpkin or squash, corn (technically a grain), mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes.

A diet completely devoid of fruit and vegetables can't really be considered "balanced", but I hope you are able to find something that works for you. I have a friend with crohn's who says starchy vegetables are better on the stomach.
