embrassing nosebleed

So I was running with my friend and suddenly I had a nose bleed. It was all over my hand but it wasnt as bad so I didn't care and continued running. What's wrong with me? why did I get that nosebleed? that was the first time ever I got a nosebleed from running. I'm a rugby player, I used to run on the daily basis. Am I missing something in my diet?
Damn it I mean Embarrasing..

Are you getting in enough water/liquids?
Do you have allergies (some people bleed from those due to mucus issues)?
Is it really hot when you run?

There could be a million reasons it happened.
If you're totally freaked out, go to a doctor....
If it's a one time deal, don't stress.
