My New Diet Trial Greenlane diet
Monday 2nd April 2012
After trying so many diets and not sustaining the weight loss I have decided to embark on a New diet that a good friend does. Its Called the greenlane diet and has many critics on the web but after much research and invesitgation before I commenced it I think its worth a shot.
So the Idea is that for three days a week you eat specific foods allocated on the diet and then eat normally (healthy) for the rest of the week. and so on every week. This consists of a calorie intake of 700 calories per day over the three days and then go back to your normal required intake.(this is suppose to stop your body going into starvation mode as it is suggested that it would after the three days if you continued.
So On Monday I stared and I Weighed 10.4 Stone
Curiously I weighed myself Tuesday (know you shouldnt but hey) I weighed 10.2 1/2
Wednesday I Weighed 10.1 1/2
I am suppose to see bigger improvements by Thursday, We will see.
The foods are Healthy and I quite like them apart from ice-cream which i really dont like.
Oh and I dont feel hungry on this so thats good.
Will update tomorow as to weigh in

    Good job so far.

But...do you realistic expect to eat like this for the rest of your life?

Their is a set menu for the three days

Sounds like an odd combination but it has been proven to work. It was suggested that it was designed for people whom were going to have surgery and needed to loose weight fast and if followed for the three days a week over four weeks or so they would see dramatic weight loss and yet not go into starvation mode. Will see

No I dont expect to eat this for the rest of my life that is just stupid, its a kick start to a diet that should be followed by a healthy eating plan and is not a life plan
