Hi, I'm 49 too (like Karen there) and I would like to get rid of 20 or 30. I've just been on MFP for about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. My weight loss is fluctuating, so I still need to find what diet/exercise/calorie combination will work for me. Running was helping until I tore a calf muscle, but I've continued to ride my bike and other low impact stuff.

Enough about me. So far I've found a handful of people that have useful information. I've found many folks out there who like to have their ego stroked, or love to brag about how well they're doing. It's nauseating. So beware.

Please add me and perhaps we can both learn what works.

    Dan

Hey - feel free to add me - I still have approximately 23 lbs to lose to bring me into the healthy BMI range. All the support here is great at keeping you motivated. You can do it.
