Should I be recording my everyday routine walks?

I'm on holiday from work at the moment and taking a well-deserved rest. Realised today though, that I'm not getting the benefit of my usual daily routine, the walking to, from and at work.
I don't usually record that stuff but now that I haven't been doing it, I'm thinking that maybe I should have been recording it on myfitnesspal.
How do you guys handle this? Do you record everyday exercise? Or just planned workouts etc?

Were you doing your everyday walk when you gained weight? If you were, I think you include that in your activity level when you sign up. If you picked sedentary then you should be including it in your daily exercise.0

Think I put sedentary since I have a desk job. So you're saying I should be recording in that case?0
