Wearing your HRM all day

Has anyone wore their HRM all day for their calorie burn?? Just curious

    I have considered it but I imagine you would burn up your batteries doing that

    The equation it uses to calculate burned calories only pertains to when you are in your target heart rate zone. Wearing it all day will result in a wildly inaccurate calorie count.

    i wanted to try this too :) maybe ill get an accurate resting day calorie count

    I definitely would NOT suggest doing this. HRMs are designed for when you're exercising and elevating your HR. If you want to measure calories burned during non-exercise activities you should look into things like the bodymedia fit, fitbit etc. But from what I've heard and read, those aren't the best for measuring calories burned during exercise.
