Sore for a week

Last Thursday, I did planks and 6 days later my stomach is still hurting. Other than walking, I haven't done any exercises since then. Is it normal for the pain to last this long?

Been in fitness for 28+ years and have studied kinesiology and nutrition0 -
I've been told by my trainer that drinking more water will help with soreness. He recommends at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces. I seem to notice on the days I slip up on getting enough.0
