Homemade banana chips

I make banana chips in my dehydrator at home. No oil, no salt, no sugar, just banana's dried. i dont know how to put this in as a food. The banana chips on the database all have fat, which im assuming is because they're fried in oil like most commercially made banana chips are.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Im not sure if i just add them as bananas or not.

I would suggest you weigh one banana before cutting it up and dehydrating it. Then weigh the chips. This will give you a conversion factor. So if your banana was 100 g before dehydration, and say that was 90 calories, and it weighs 50 g after, you know that 50 g of banana chips were 90 calories.
So, do they taste anything like the ones they sell in the store (the fried, sugary ones)?0 -
Oh that's a good idea janelliospeck!
and i love them. I buy lots of bananas in the summer when they're less than $.30 a pound and then eat them fresh and dehydrate the rest. I eat the banana chips more in the winter when bananas are more expensive. I make two types, one is plain, just banana. The other i put splenda and cinnamon on and those are good too. I like the homemade ones better than the store bought. they taste fresher and not so greasy but to me, just as sweet.0
