So I need some ideas. I'm scheduling foot surgery for a bunion on my right foot that impedes the way I walk. I want to get started on losing weight and shaping up though. I can't do much walking. The pain is too much on a daily basis. I go for the occasional walk now and it hurts for days after.
I also have a lot of joint pain, so starting with lifting weights, even light ones, isn't working for me. I have a Total Gym, but can't do much with it without a lot of pain in my joints.
Any cardio workouts that don't include your feet?

You can also sit and do some shadow boxing. Get into a rhythm of some different moves (cross, uppercut, jab, etc.) and you can actually really get your heart rate going.0
