Okay, you may think I'm crazy but there is a cajun restaurant here that serves fabulous grilled gator sausage. It doesn't seem lean by any stretch, but I'm not sure what the appropriate listing is in the food database. The listing I found was 3 oz for 120 calories, which seems low.

What do you think?

When making lean meats into sausage, often they will add other fats to ensure good consistency. If you frequent the restaurant and plan to have the alligator sausage often, you could always call and tell them you're counting calories and you just want to know about how many calories the sausage is, and if they can tell you what the meat/added fat ratio is. You could then create a 'recipe' on MFP using the numbers from raw alligator meat

    and the fat used.

If you don't frequent the place or get the alligator sausage too often, to be on the safe side in estimating I would just add an average brat or something like that to my diary.
