This is for a double chocolate but you can change up the flavors.
I used a gel canister automatic ice cream maker.
Sorry it started to melt in the pic, I was trying to clean up some of my mad scientist mess!
This recipe makes 4-6 servings.
Mix all of these ingredients well in your blender
3 scoops chocolate (or whatever you like)flavored whey protein powder
1 scoop unflavored whey protein (0r just another of your flavored)
1 T. unsweetened cocoa
1 packet splenda
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
then in another bowl
1/3 cup pasturized egg whites (do not use raw you need the pasturized because we are not cooking this) whipped to soft peaks
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (whipped to soft peaks)
1 sq. sugar free toffee (russell stover makes a good one) chopped finely (you can add whatever you want nuts, choc chips)
Take the mixture from your blender and heat it in the microwave for 1-2 minute (if it is too cold it will make you paddle in your icecream maker freeze)
IF YOU HAVE A GEL CANISTER MAKER TURN IT ON
Pour the blender mixture into your icecream maker and then add the egg whites and whipping cream
when this starts to firm up you can add your toffee
Scoop and enjoy! Do not be a piggy, this makes several servings! (freeze the rest for later)
