This is for the women with large backsides.. People tell me that I will never lose my butt. Its kinda discouraging. And then they ask wheres the weight I want to lose... I say every where ..

You will lose weight all over. However, if you are naturally shapely, your butt may always be somewhat proportionally larger. I wouldn't worry about it until you get close to your goal weight. Stay up on your lower body toning/strength training.0

I have a "naturally" large backside as well. My whole life!! Got teased for it in elementary school and then learned to embrace it towards high school and on. Yes, having it a little smaller would be nice, but I NEVER want to lose my curves!!! They are a part of me!!! LOL0

This ^^^
You may be frustrated that your rear is the last to go (in my case it is my stomach), but it will shrink. It has to if you keep losing! Agreed that your general shape maybe pear or larger rear, but I know when you get down closer to goal, you'll be happy (and far more attractive).
My sister-in-law is pear shaped and she gets very frustrated that she gets even smaller on top when she starts losing weight. But after a while, it comes off the bottom half too. It eventually has to. Typically I'm pretty proportional, but lately, I look good most places except for 30-40 lbs hanging out on my stomach. So disgusting, but I know it will eventually come off.
I think some folks just like to discourage others from improving themselves by being negative (it makes them feel like they don't have to change).0
