UK size 12. Would losing 14lb drop me to a UK 10?

Can anyone advise please? I am on holidays and bought a dress today (an expensive one - my reward for losing almost 2 stone and my incentive to lose another stone). It is a figure hugging dress but with a bit of stretch in it. I tried the UK size 12 and it fitted like a glove. I tried the UK10 and it was tight but zipped up, etc. Currently I admit it is probably looks too tight. But I do intend to lose another 14lb and I imagine that that would make a big difference at this weight? I think that at that point the 12 would no longer be figure hugging and would lose everything it offers if that makes sense. Wouls losing a stone take me from a size 12 to a 10? I travel home tomorrow and would be relieved to think \i have made the right choice in going for the UK 10. Thanks if you have gone frome a 12 to a 10 and can offer advice.

It is usually, in my experience, about 7 Ibs to drop a size actually. I would think 14 Ibs would take you closer to an 8.0

Thank you for the reply. I stuck with the smaller size. I know from trying on the 12 that it suits my shape and I know that I am NOT happy to stop at this weight. From the beginning I have intended to go another stopne. I really do think that at that point the 10 will fit comfortably. Too late now...I am back home, lol!0
