I was shopping around for some new running shoes last week. I really liked the feel of the brooks but the ones that were my size were hard to get on. I went up another size and was able to get them on easily get the shoe on but the size was a bit long. Should shoes like this be tight or do I still want something easy to get on.

It's not unusual for your running shoes to be 1/2 to 1 full size bigger than your street shoes, you want some room at the front.
May I suggest that you visit a running specialty store to have your shoes properly fitted and to have your gait analyzed to make sure you have the right type of shoe?0
