I had my TSH tested. If this is high then you do not have enough T3 and T4. The normal is 0.49-4.67. I read on the net that if your level is 2 you are subclinical but anything over that is high. Well, mine was 5.05. I called my doctor and she wasn't in but the PA (physician's assistant) told me that it was just borderline and nothing to worry about. I already take Synthroid so I wonder if I need more. Any one know about this?

If you have a high TSH ( betwwen 4 to 10) but normal t3 or t4, and are asymptomatic, you are sub clinical and typically don't need a dose adjustment. The PA is right in my opinion but u can always check w your doc0
