How to figure out approximate calories burned by an activity

Here are the types of exercise I'm most likely to do, other than basic walking. How do I have any idea approximately how many calories I'm burning by each of these activities?
T-Tapp: Basic Plus
T-Tapp: Total Workout
T-Tapp: Step
Pilates Core Workout - 40 minute version
X-box Kinect Adventures - Reflex Ridge

Really your best bet would be to invest in a HRM (Heart Rate Monitor), I have the PolarF7.0

Yes a heart rate monitor is the way to go! All of the online estimates including MFP are way too high, as are the readings given by exercise machines unless they are the professional gym ones which take account of your weight, age and heart rate! HRMs can be expensive, but I've seen second hand ones on Amazon for about £5 UK pounds!0
