    Stronglifts is very basic and doesn't take a lot of time (especially at first), and it has the benefit of telling you the weight you should start with (the bar). NROL4W is good too, but I found that it got a little annoying switching between different types of exercises that are located in different areas of my gym.

    Starting Strength by mark rippetoe has extensive instructions. Even after reading online/watching videos, I still learned a lot.


    I would suggest you start with an empty olympic barbell.

    this is my second time doing NR and i have to say I agree with this. i get around this by making sure i lift when it's less crowded at the gym. when i've done it during busier times, i inevitably have to wait for something, plus since some of the movements are supersets, you can risk losing your cable machine while you're doing push ups :laugh:
