Starving

This is the ONLY way that I can lose weight. By being hungry. 1200 calories is enough food but I have to go under 1200 if I want to see a result. I still exercise nearly every day but I can't burn it up as fast as I used to. Probably my fault. All those years of feast or famine. All those stupid fad diets. Frustrating :frown:

Not true at all. How's your sodium intake? Are you eating processed foods? Are you REALLY doing consistent, "hard" cardio? Are you lifting weights? Have you tried low carb?

There are a bunch of healthy things to try where you can get in over 1200 calories and still lose weight.

What are you specifically doing for exercise? Your diary is closed. What are you eating now?

Pick yourself up and try something different.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You can do this. Try what I do, take a peek in other people's food diaries to get meal ideas that are feeling. Try to fuel on power foods and less processed foods and ensure you are drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day. Stay positive and together with your MFPers support you will start seeing results.

Aw thanks guys your helpful words mean a lot. It has picked me up again for sure. I won't stop trying and I will find a way to also stop starving! Thank you so very much. Note to self: Sigh. Start again as of today and don't take my frustrations out on the Easter chocolate

Make sure you take measurements and not just rely on that scale. The scale will lie to you.
I have seen many drop inches and not lose a pound.
