Tired of the same routine :p

So everyday I work out I either do the elliptical, jog, sprint/walk, or so fast walking on a treadmill goin uphill.

What other cardio machines are there to try that burn mass calories? or other strategies of working out?

  • I have this problem........alot actually. I recently started to ride a bike, not a stationary bike but actually getting out in the sunshine and riding. Burns massive calories and it is fun. I can change it up just by riding in a different place. Throw on some great tunes (Evanescence, Seether, Flo Rida) and it makes it that much better. I enjoy it, and hope this helps!!!:happy:

    Same here I'm stuck on elliptical for half hour and then 20 minutes uphill up to a 9 incline on treadmill. Not bored yet but I know I will be. Keep pushing myself more and more every time but there has got to be something else. Stationary bike is sooooooooooo boring and does not burn like elliptical or uphill on treadmill. I dont want my body to start getting used to that routine and not burn as much.

    What I've been doing is switching intensity on elliptical, 4 minutes on a lower resistance like 3 and then the next 4 minutes on level 8, back and forth.
    On treadmill, I do 3.7 mph and switch from incline 1-9 every two minutes I go higher and higher and then I stay on incline 9 the longest and then work my way back down until my time is up.

    I've been jump roping a lot also. 30 minutes of moderate speed (2-3 jumps per second to music) jump rope I burn about 350-400 calories in 30 minutes. I cannot do the stairclimber either.
