Howdy Pebbles!
How is everyone? I am planning to go jogging again this morning, but there's a storm coming so I will have to see how long that's going to take. It will be humid afterward! AF, is also on her way, which I guess is good. DH was getting panicky that I am pregnant. lol
Speaking of that, ever since my pregnancy in December I have developed a muffin top, a big one. I've never had a problem with my waist (I mean it's been big but always in proportion to the rest of my body and I have always lost weight there first.). Are crunches going to help with a muffin top, or is it just a matter of losing weight all around that's going to help? It irritates me how my body has changed. I'm noticing it's harder since I am not 25 anymore either.
So today's goals:
go for a walk/jog (weather permitting)
clean for at least 30 minutes
to not overeat
fill out adoption grant paper work
AD, sorry your son is sick. Is he better today? Apparently some thing is going around. My friend's little girl had a fever of 104.3 yesterday. But your attitude overall is great! It's encouraging and inspiring!
Ok, my novel is done.
Tuesday Boogaloo!

Oh and I forgot my push ups, squats and sit ups today too.

Okay, considering it just rained hard for an hour, I won't be jogging this morning. Taebo it is! I may try to go jog this evening when DH gets home.
    Man, I'm chatty today!

Rain would be nice. I noticed that the little icon for the weather has changed to "hot" for this weekend (you know, party cloudy, sunny, well, we also have hot). 98 degrees, I think. Summer hibernation has begun.

Yesterday, I ate lunch somewhat mindfully, walked, and rode to yoga. Today: yoga and gym. Tomorrow, I'm going to San Antonio for the night, so I need to get my yoga in today. I'm teaching on Friday and Sat, so I don't have to worry about those days.

My mom made cookies for Friday (some extended family is coming and we are all have food on Friday night) - danger, danger! I'm making my semi-healthy muffins - hopefully, I'll want those instead.

Well, Mary as weird as it sounds to you, I'm voluntarily going into a little slice of your weather. Today is Bikram. (It's been in the 40s here, and I'm freezing.)

Then, project work, and maybe my sometimes voice student. Then, it's probably movie night/date night.

    Popcorn boogaloo.

    Take care, pebbs.:flowerforyou:

Mmmm, popcorn  okay, really, I just ran 5 miles; anything sounds good at the moment! I packed pb&j for lunch. I'm not sure I will wait that long.

Ian went to school today... wait for it.... in big boy underware!!!!! Yep, on top of not feeling good this weekend, he insisted on wearing cars & scooby. Only one accident on saturday and NONE yesterday (probably since he was so dehydratred there's nothing to pee). He's so stinking cute in his scooby-doo undies! Yay Ian!

Sorry, monumental moment in the Davis household. Wow, no more diapers & wipes (maybe I'll start saving that money for an intentional reason?!?!?!)

    Have a fantastic day!

Hi everybody! I went running last night - I was a little disappointed that it was still hard. For some reason, I thought it would be easier after last week. I managed the 3.5 miles, but was pushing myself to actually finish the last mile. I missed a day of pushups last week, so I think I will start over week 2 again this week. And this time I will finish and move on! Other than that, and a walk, nothing special planned today. Maybe a yoga DVD.

I don't know that I could bear the Texas summer heat. I talked to my brother yesterday, and he said that he always does a run on his birthday for the number of minutes that he is old in years. The problem is, his birthday is in August, and he lives in Houston! :noway:

I am trying to think about whether there is a way for me to transition from "weight-loss" mode to "healthy lifestyle" mode. In particular, I'm wondering if there's a way I can spend less time at the gym and still get enough cardio to stay at my current fitness level. The main problem is that I spent 9 hours at a desk everyday, so without dedicated "exercise time", it doesn't happen. I should probably just cut down on my veg-out time at home after dinner so I have more time to get other things done. :ohwell:

    Good Morning!

I'm so impressed by the runners in our group -- CP and Arianne -- good job!

And congrats on the Scooby underwear. So cute.

I took the last two days off from exercise so I've got a big day planned. I'll go to my killer Core class, then am going to bike down to my sister's.

Tonight I've got a party at Arianna Huffington's -- so excited! It's been nonstop parties with the premiere of my show (Whale Wars) coming up on Friday. I'm also bringing the new guy that I've been dating and I already know we're going to have a lot of fun. My goal is to eat before I go so that I'm not tempted to snack. And I'll let myself have 2 glasses of wine.

    Party boogaloo!!!!
