After reading all of the results on whether or not girls mind stretch marks on guys and getting a general consensus of "nope", I am curious to see if the guys mind if WE have them. I have lost a lot of weight. I am getting pretty hot. I do have a LOT of stretchmarks that I know are not going away.
I want brutal honesty here......... none of the fluffy, hearts and rainbows bs. The truth.

No. Stretchmarks are part of who you are....they are a map of the journey you have gone through to become who you are. They are beautiful, just like you are. Trust me, if you take off your clothes in front of a man, he is not thnking anything about your stretch marks...he is just thinking "thank you for your many blessings"....at least if he is a real man he is....0 -
They don't bother me a bit...as long as the woman has curves and she has a great personality amd she acts like a woman...any imperfections just fade away and all I see is her...0

I have a LOT of stretch marks - you don't carry a 9 pound baby for 9 1/2 months or then spend 6 years being obese and escape unscathed.
My ex hated them and it made me even more self-conscious; however, the guys on here, at least, don't seem to think they are all that gross.
Of course, they could just be saying that to be nice, but I think that most (not all, but most) men don't mind them all that much - especially since, by the time they have you undressed enough to see them, they probably aren't worried about the appearance of your tummy skin.0 -

When you love someone, you love all of them. I notice them on some women, but it matters none to me.0

I notice them but they are part of who you are/were. Not something to make me run for the hills.0

Once you love somebody
(once you love)
there's no turning back
(turning back)
It can burn forever
It can haunt you

Removing all emotion and everything, leaving nothing but the body that I see...
I say with 100% honesty that stretch marks *do not matter* to me. Well, actually they do a little, but only because I *like* them. They tell a story. They add character. They're not necessary, but they're pretty damn cool.0 -

Good answer! But seriously, I think when you truly care about someone all their imperfections go away...you know the quote, love is blind! :-)0 -

Halle Berry has been quoted saying her partner calls hers her "sexy tiger stripes".
A woman earns stretch marks. They're a mark of what I've been through and what I've achieved.
OF COURSE, I don't like them, and they make me insecure... But no-one is photoshop perfect from all angles.0 -
Nope, if you can put up with mine, I can put up with yours.....and besides, I think you need to hear it for what it really is....we're not having sex with your stretch marks :happy:0

Thank you. These are answers that the timid, fearful little girl inside needed to hear. I would have accepted any honest answer. I was just hoping to help myself get over the part of me that I most dislike at this point. And hearing answers either way would have helped me. If they mattered, I could just go on with my life, know that they are there, not going anywhere and some men dont like them (which I am sure is truth). OR, I could stop being so self concious about them and learn that it is OK to have them.0

None of the guys I know care and I certainly don't care, I have them myself from the dark times. From the long ago when inner jabba parked his palace on my gut...0

I don't even think about the stretch marks... that's just the result of growing 7" in one year followed up by carrying a 10lb baby for 40 weeks.
Now the cellulite on the other hand. That be some nasty *kitten*!0 -

Beautiful girl like you? No one in their right mind is gonna care about a few stripes. :flowerforyou:0 -
They may not be 100% appealing, but there are far worse things you could have and, chances are, a woman in general has more assets that can be appreciated than where the stretch marks are.0

I've had 3 babies, one set of twins. I went 37-weeks with them. I had a 54' waist. Baby boy was 7lbs 7oz baby girl 6lbs 5oz. Our oldest asked about the marks on my tummy and my husband answered, "Aren't they beautiful? She kept you safe for 9-months in there. Prettiest home I've ever seen."
There will be guys who will look at stretch marks and cringe. They are boys. Ignore them and move on to a man.0
