Need your opinion....

Ya’ll are helping me out so…please answer this question:

If one of your close friends came to you to inspire him/her to start their weight loss, what would you say to him/her to help motivate him/her to start their journey? Can be anything from 1 word to a paragraph, no right or wrong answers here.

I'm compiling a blog tonight and I'd like to hear what motivated and unmotivated people have to answer to this

I believe the motivation primarily needs to come from one's self. I got tired of being sick and tired and allowing MS to run my life. I was sitting on the side lines of life watching my kids grow, have fun, and I was unable to participate in their lives. Looking back it was rather sad and pathetic. I was able to participate in work and do my job as well as anyone, but would then be exhausted when I got home and unable to give my family the type of care I was giving my patients. This was no fair to my hub or the kids. Don't get me wrong I still cleaned and cooked and helped with homework but it was a battle and I was miserable. After, coming to this realization, knowing that there had to be a change, I was told by a dr that by the time I was 50-60 yrs old I would be in a wheelchair if I didn't make changes. This pissed me off. So the next day I was calling a trainer and the next week I was training 2x a week. By the 3rd week I was going to zumba 2-3x a week. Now, I am moving and losing weight an then found MFP. It has been an amazing change! I am doing things I never thought I would do. I am loving it. I don't ever want to become htat down trodden angry stagnant person again. I am still busy , but busy with a sense of purpose, hope and joy now..
