Sorry, another dreaded calorie question. But please answer!

My BMR is 1405 I am 5"3 130lbs age 22 female. I exercise 3-5 days a week and have been eating 1280. I am not losing weight and I normally eat back my exercise calories. I eat very healthy. If ppl say make a deficit of 500 calories from your BMR then I am under the healthy calorie intake. I have absolutley no idea how many calories I am supposed to be eating...

    HI there,
you do not take 500 from your BMR. You should never eat below your BMR ever, and in fact should eat above it.
Your BMR is the amount of calories you need to stay alive each day. It doesnt count the calories required to move your body, do exercise, walk around doing whatever you do. If you eat below your BMR your body cannot effectively function.

Try going to Fat to fit radio and look under tools to calculate BMR and Goal Weight. You can figure out your BMR and then it helps to calculate how many calories to eat total to help you get to your goal weight. Remember that the calorie level they provide for you is already calculated for your goal weight- so you do not need to subtract anything from that number. The total calories for weight loss is already calculated for you.
Read the paragraphs carefully so you understand.

Also, because you are within a healthy weight for your height already, you should expect weight loss to be slow. this is healthy and will ensure that the weight stays off. You want to eat in a way that you can sustain for life. You will most likely be surprised by how many calories ( of healthy, whole foods- not processed diet crap) you will be able to eat and lose weight.
Do your reading- there are a ton of post about BMR and TDEE as well as those about healthy calorie intake.

Do this right and you will never have to worry about your weight again. trust me, that is a gift.
    Best of luck to you.
