Practice Makes Permanent!

I realized that after a month of being on MFP, I never really said "Hi". I just jumped right into the message boards and started providing feedback :laugh:

I'm a pretty positive person who is looking to continue having fun in life. My main motivation to become more fit is because I have started being denied pleasures of life. I cannot zipline, segway, or parachute from a plane because the number on the scale is higher than the limits for those activities. I have skipped rides at theme parks because I was too nervous I wouldn't fit in the seat. I wear sweaters ALL THE TIME to hide my lumpy body.

I'm hoping that by getting into the practice of being consciously aware of every thing I am eating at all times, it will lead to a permanent change in who I am and how I approach life.

Anyone who would like to become friends on here, I welcome you. I love being motivated and helping to motivate others. Yay for our soon to be healthier, more physically fit, selves!

ps...If anyone is in the Orange County, CA area, I'm a member to 24 hr fitness and new workout buddies are always great! :smile:
