Earning extra calories for excercising

Ok, I have a question.... When I add my excercise to MFP I earn extra calories for the day..Doesn't that defeat the purpose of working out to burn those calories? I would think I should stick to the same amount of calories and continue to burn, hence lose weight. hmmmm

lots of us struggle with it. but having tried it both ways- I can tell you, it does work better to fuel your body. only if you are severely obese (biggest loser) can you get away with huge calorie deficits.0
