Gym Equipment - called "wave"

has anyone used a machine called "wave". The motion is similar to skiing. I'm wondering if the calories can be relied upon -- they seem to add up very quickly and while it is a very good workout I want to make sure the calories noted as burned are realistic.

First question on the machine... do you enter your height / weight / sex to the machine or is it giving you a general burn for "average" person. If it's an average burn I'd not trust the numbers, if you enter those biological details in it then... may have a chance at being more accurate than just the "Average" if you don't enter info.0
