I generally shoot for around 300-400 per meal, then low calorie snacks. When I know I'm going to work out, I may have more snacks or a higher calorie meal.0 -
Its being 100% dedicated to meal planning.
The days I dont work out, Im on 1600 Cal
The days I do workout, I consume 1830 Cal... and in both scenarios its planning out your meals.
Keeping foods fresh and not relying on prepackaged/processed/convenience foods.
Grab some recipe websites/books and start looking at new things to try. Plan out accordingly...
If you can remain dedicated to that, it will become a habit....0 -
Are you losing weight at 1600 per day? I'm struggling with trying to figure out how many are best for me. I notice if I'm around 1300 (which is what MFP calcuates for me) I don't lose at all but when I go up to 1500-1600 I lose.
I tend to eat around 350 for breakfast, load up on lunch and then maybe 300 for dinner. If I haven't made it to my limit I eat a corn muffin for my night snack!
Yesterday I had two beers and nachos and overnight loss 1.2 pounds LOL. I think this is telling me I need to eat more calories each day.
Good luck with your weight loss!!0 -
Everyone is different, but for me I do a larger breakfast around 500 calories or so, then under 400 for lunch and about the same for dinner. My snacks range and I have more than 2 a day. Apple, almonds, grapes, etc. Sometimes I have 2 snacks at one time, but usually I break them up and have 1 between breakfast and lunch and 2 between lunch and dinner.0
