So, still a little new to this and was reading other posts. People were talking about figuring out your BMR (Dont know what that is). Where would you find this? Also, If anyone can take a look at my diary and let me know if I am on the right track because once I start reading some of these posts I start getting confused. They talking about eating 1200 calories a day and how you shouldn't eat your exercise calories back and make sure your BMR is accurate and MFP is lieing and blah blah.

So, if anyone has time, please check my diary and let me know if I am even on the right track. I am trying to figure this all out, but keep getting confused. LoL

BMR = Basal Metabolic Rate. The number of calories you would burn, just to stay alive. Like if you just laid in bed all day long….this is how many calories your body would need to survive.

TDEE = Total Daily Energy Expenditure. This is how many calories your body need to function on a normal day for you, depending on your ‘activity level’.

Just use this website…or Google for any other website that looks good to you. But this will give you a good estimate of what your stats are.
    http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

Once you figure your BMR – there’s a link underneath that labeled ‘Daily Calorie Needs’…click on that and it will give you instructions on how to figure up your TDEE.

I’ve learned (by lurking mostly….) that you want to eat less than your TDEE, but at or more than your BMR in order to lose weight healthily and sustainably. =D

EDIT: In general you want to eat all your calories (or come pretty close to it).

The thing I hate about every TDEE calcualator I've seen, is that the activity level options are very limited.

I glanced at your diary and you seem to be doing okay. It's a lot of premade and prepackaged foods, but you seem to be hitting your goals okay.
