I always NEED salt after vigorous workouts. I drink water before during and after but I feel like eating everything with salt. How do I avoid eating that? And why am I craving salt?

Just lick yourself after working out. You'll taste salt. You lose salt through sweat.

In some cases taking a Thermotab (salt pill) will help, but always ask your Doctor first. This is one thing that I have first hand knowledge of, I have a condition where my body doesn't retain any sodium at all. If I don't take at least one salt pill a day I have something similar to a seizure.

is that where you have too much pottassium?? and not enough salt to balance it out?

Nope, I guess I'm just a bit of a freak because everything else is normal. Took enough years to figure out what it was though.
