Nope, I try to stand up straight though.0

I flex... but I wanna see my abs!0
-
Most of the time yes
Edit:- not in progress pics - I read the title but not the OP:blushing:0 -
Wouldn't that kind of defeat the purpose? I mean, I do that when it's a picture in regular everyday life (vacation, family photos, etc), but the whole point of my progress pictures is to look at the real me. If I hold my stomach in, i'm not really seeing the real me.0

i feel like i push my stomach out to make sure im not sucking in0
-
I flex... but I wanna see my abs!
Yup! I just flex0 -
Yeah, I don't see the point in holding your stomach in for progress pictures. That's not giving the photo a true "picture" of the progress. I hold my stomach in for everyday photos, though.0

I don't.0

Even if I did, you couldnt tell. But you can tell it's smaller than it was!0 -
I do, but I always have, so at least it's constant lol.0
-
I don't suck it in, but I rarely let my abs relax. Engaging those muscles keeps me from slouching.0

^ Agree, I think your just cheating yourself, and for me I rather see the truth & best results0 -

Agreed.
How else are we supposed to know how well we are doing if we, for lack of a better term, lie to ourselves?0 -
I hold mine in all the time. I have to really think about it to let it go. Wonder if that will ever go away.0
-
i dont, it is pointless. i want to see muscle definition without having to flex.0
-
I hold it in so my ta-ta's look more perky... Does that count?0
-
I don't 'suck it in'...but I hold it tight. This is a position I try to maintain 24/7 though...so progress pictures are just another reminder.
Besides, your belly fat is still going to show no matter how tight you hold your abs. I could even argue that holding your stomach perfectly tight will make your progress pictures more repeatable a guage of fat loss. But either way, even if EVERY time you take a progress picture you suck your stomach in as far as you can, you'll still be able to use the pictures for their intended purpose, which is guaging your progress lol.

I don't let it all jiggle out, but I don't super-suck it in either. I just do my normal, every day sucking it in, what I look like all the time. Pretty much just contracting my muscles.0
-
Nope... I like to see my actual progress!0
-
I don't suck in, I merely contract my abs.
...speaking of, I need to do a progress pic!0 -

This!
It sounds crazy, but I don't even know when I'm sucking in or not anymore. I don't know the difference. I don't super contract all day long, but my mom taught me to suck in from a very (very!) young age so it's a 20 year habit.
In my pics I try to let it go, but I think I'm going to just do my usual amount of sucking in during all my photos. I'll still see the difference.0 -
I do this
That's awesome.
On topic: No, I don't hold it in.0 -
I will be honest I do suck in, not all the time but sometimes. I want to look better off than I am, but I am gonna work on it. I am learning to love myself again it takes time.0
-
I started holding my stomach in...most times I don't and I hear this helps with the abs....0

I do this
HOly crap! LMFAO!0 -
Well, what's the difference between flexing and sucking it in?0
