Workout routine?

I have reached my goal weight so now i need to work on toning. I was thinking f maybe alternating my days with running 7-10 miles a day and an hour of jillian michaels workout with 5 lbs weights like ripped in 30, extreme shed and shred, and 6 week 6 pack and more. Do you think thats enough "weight training" to tone?

Popular routines for initial weight training are...
7 Weeks to Fitness: http://www.7weekstofitness.com/
(free to sign up, programs for push-ups, pull-ups, squats)
5x5 Stronglifts: http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5x5-beginner-strength-training-program/
(also free to sign up, you get your excel spreadsheet and other guides via e-mail)
and others, but I forget the names. P90X is excellent too.0 -
It's a start. After you master those videos, you may eventually will want to go up in weight or try a different program. I find the JM videos too short for my taste. There are a lot of toning videos out there for women.
I would actually recommend that you look into Cathe Friedrich's video. Here's a link to her toning videos. If you click on then, you can watch an extended preview: http://shop.cathe.com/strength_training_dvd_s/57.htm (don't forget to click "next page" to see the entire list).0
