Runners--Got some gear tonight!!

I am so excited that I finally got a water belt! I had been eyeing it up and decided I really needed if for safety purposes as I was just running with my keys. Then I also got a running outfit so I will look all cool and a real runner! Cant wait to try it out tomorrow. Do you have any cool accessories??

    I just got the Garmin Forerunner GPS watch! It comes with a heart rate monitor. It is awesome and will really help with my progress as I train for the KC Marathon being held in October. The watch tracks your mile times, elevation, calories burned, heart rate, etc. I also would like to get a water belt. Thought about it but never have gotten one. Weather is starting to get quite warm.

    I also got the Garmin Forerunner 305!!! Jsut got it yesterday!!! I love it and it is so accurate!!!!

    I look like a techno geek when I go out, body bugg on one arm, ipod with Nike + on the other, phone in the bra and water bottle, oh and at night I have little blinky lights for the back of my shoes :love:

    AWESOME! I have the nike plus and the remote watch to go with it but I rarely use that and then my hand held water bottle! I was thinking about getting the belt one though. Can you let me know if it stays in place please?

    Me too! I run outdoors with my Garmin 201 (one of these days I'll upgrade!), Polar F6 HRM, ipod, blackberry, and of course my Road ID on my shoe. :laugh:

    I was thinking about getting the Road ID but just decided to make copies of license, insurance card--laminate and then just leave it in the pouch. I really got it for the pepper spray so I will feel safer.

    Both are good ideas, you should also put I.C.E. in front of the name of your emergency contact in your cell phone so emergency persons can easily find someone to contact :wink:
