orz no idea if this is the best place to post this.
Over the last week or two my skins become incredibly dry, i'm just wondering is there any supplement I can take that might help this or some fruit or veg that's beneficial for skin? (;_; I already moisturize and stuff) Any help is appreciated.

If your fats are not high enough, your skin will suffer.0

I agree about your fat intake. Make sure it is a healthy fat like extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil. I have very dry skin because I have had to cut most of the fat out of my diet due to not being able to tolerate it anymore. I had intestinal bypass surgery and can no longer eat it.0

I agree with the posts above on fat intake. good sources of healthy fat are alaskan salmon and avocados.0

Fish oil pills help some. But that's just another way of saying what others have. Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids are vital to healthy skin. They transport many of the fat soluble vitamins skin needs to be healthy.0

are you drinking enough water?0

Bump .. . . needed this info as well0

Yeah, I would agree with the water. Didn't know that about the fats. I have incredibly dry skin and once I started getting at least 5 cups + of water, my skin actually glows and it feels hydrated. I'm not constantly scratching all the time. Maybe a combo of the fat and water?0

I wouldn't know about the fat either, but I have to echo the posters saying you might need more water. I find that drinking lots of water helps a lot my skin out A LOT During TOM.0

My skin is really dry and I drink eight glasses if water a day, I've cut out all the fizzy drinks but it was getting worse so I just decided to start experimenting with products.
I put together 30g of porridge oats, two teaspoons of sugar, two tablespoons of honey, half a cup of warm water and two teaspoons of lemon juice. Mix it all up, then use it like a facepack. It sounds really weird I know but it has been a lifesaver, my skin looks and feels alot better. I keep mine on for about thirty minutes and do this every other day, at the end of the night right before my bedtime bath. This is just what I do though, try out a few things xxx0 -
I might try the facepack, considering I drink lots of water during the day and evening, definitely around my 8 mugs. Although I don't eat much fish at all (purely because the taste doesn't agree with me a lot of the time) but I might try supplements if it's good for my skin. :>0

coconut oil, it is a great cooking oil, and great for skin topically too. Look into healthy oils/fats. Make sure you get them in your diet. Sometimes I use olive oil to wash my face too.0
