Hi, all! My name is Melissa, and I joined MFP about a month or so ago. I have been overweight for most of my adult life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago, and thus began my weight loss journey. I have lost 48 pounds so far, but still have quite a bit more to lose.
I am looking for help, encouragement, support, tips, hints, and friendship... I find that it is easier for me to stick with a healthier life-style when I have others who are also trying to get healthy to talk to and share the journey.
Please add me to your friend's list if you would like.
I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Nice to meet you. My name is Peggy. I had gastric bypass 18 years ago when I weighed 330. Over the next two years I lost over 200 lbs and dropped down to 112 lbs. My weight finally started coming back up. 112 was too thin for me at my age and height. 5'4". I finally leveled off at 160 which was where I was supposed to be according to my surgeon. I did fine for about 15 years or so and last year I broke my arm. Meds they gave me caused me to gain 35 lbs. I'm trying to loose that 35lbs before it gets out of control again. I'll be happy to be your friend if you like and am usually on here daily. I blew my diet today by going out to lunch with my hubby. I'll be back with it tomorrow though for sure. I am counting carbs.
