So my name is Trina, I'm 20 years old and I live in Kansas City, MO, USA. I have been all over the place with my weight for the past several years. I haven't always lost weight the healthiest way, mostly it's been starving, restricting, and sometimes purging. So yes I do have an eating disorder, but I'm trying to get over that! I'm going to try and do it the healthy way, eating right, exercising, lots of water,etc. I would like to get all the support I can get while doing this. I hope to come and check MFP everyday, almost like it's second nature. Being able to clock in my workouts and list my daily consumption should be a huge motivator in going the healthy route.

You are on the right track. The best way to approach your weight loss is doing it the healthy way without fad diets and fly by night routines. If it is not a total lifestlye change, then you probably should not be doing it. Healthy means six small meals a day, weight training three days a week and cardio three days a week. You should rest at least one day a week unless you just love working out like I do. I have told all my friends to try Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shed DVD. It really works. I hope this helps some.
