can i get fitbit to charge with out dock

hi all
i am watching a fitbit ultra on a site but it just is the unit with nothing else would i be able to get a charger for it elsewhere

    you can look on ebay for someone selling the base separately but that will be hard to find since people are always looking for an extra base so they can keep one at home and one at work. You will need the base since it not only charges the fitbit but it also syncs the fitbit with the computer. I would not buy just a fitbit without the base.

    Do not buy a Fitbit without the base, it would be useless

    as for the above poster a fitbit is like a pedometer with extra bells and whistles
