Hi everyone. I have been told by friends who are doing this that joining and chatting helps along the way. I have finally decided to get healthy and change my life style....not just "diet". I need to do this for my health, my kids but most importantly because I want to! I haven't been happy for a long time and I am hoping this lifestyle change will increase the way I feel about myself. This is a huge step for me (putting it all out there to people I don't know) so hopefully I will be a success story someday. My goal is to stick with this as I have never followed through on a journey like this before. Thanks for listening!

Hi! I, too, just made the very same decision. I have been following my new routine (don't want to call it a diet) for two weeks now and have already seen the benefits. 7 lbs gone in that time! WOO HOO! I have also obtained a personal trainer to get me started, as I know myself well enough to know I am not self motivated for exercise. She is working with me on building up my core (which at this point doesn't exist after years of back issues and a lazy lifestyle). I don't know how long I will continue with her as it's expensive, but right now it's what I need. I have found this website to be the perfect thing to keep me on track with the foods I'm eating...IT has been my best tool. I had no idea I was eating as much as I was before I started this adventure. You have taken the first and most important step! Good luck to you!0

I am new at this site as well. I am really looking forward to meeting people that have the same motivation as me.. and well, keep me motivated.
Although I don't know everything on this site yet.. but I am really liking it. I just hope to acquire some friends and support each other along the way... I have a pretty long journey ahead of me..0 -

This website has been so helpful for me to actually see the nutrition--or lack of--I am fueling my body with. And I wondered why I was always do tired, and sick, and sick and tired of being sick and tired. Now I see Im fueling my body with the wrong stuff! I have vowed to change my thought on what I eat and the reason why I am eating it. ITS TIME TO REV UP MY BODY AND ENERGIZE! New lifestyle and Im luvin it!!0
