Is all the info about our bodies going into starvation mode true? If so then why is it that when people who have weight loss surgery and are eating 900 calories a day are able to still consistently lose weight. Dont worry people I am not having surgery or anything Im actually preggo...lol But a friend of mine asked me and I had no clue so I thought I would ask here

Type in "starvation mode" into the search box. You'll see a bunch of threads. Folks post at least 2-3 new threads a day about this.
Bottom line: some people believe in it and some people don't. There are studies on both sides of the issue.0
