Quick Gripe Session

I just wanted to vent for a sec so....here I go.
I workout very early in the morning here (usually at 3:45-4:00 am). While I'm in the gym I will usually turn on the TV and there are a lot of infomercials on this time of the morning. I would say a vast majority are touting some sort of exercise program. Most are good items like P90X and Insanity etc... but some are just plain shady. Like the band that people wear around the midsection to reduce belly fat. This just angers me for two reasons: 1. Its selling a product that does not have long term results, and 2. Its a "magic bullet" solution. There is no magic bullet or secret. I have lost 145 pounds in a little over a year doing the right way, no surgery, no fad diets, just eating right and exercising. There is a magic bullet, its called hard work. If you want to lose inches off your belly, do it the right way (crunches, sit ups, planks), not spend hundreds of dollars on an electric belt that will shock your abs into a washboard... It frustrates me to see people marketing this stuff when I've and many others have done it by putting the hard work and effort it takes to achieve their goals.
