I'm still in my "runner's high", so forgive my enthusiasm but I completed my first 10K this morning!! Last year I focused on 5Ks, as any form of running is a challenge to me. This year I wanted to add a little extra umph to my challenge and face 6 miles instead of 3.

I feel fantastic about it and I cannot wait to run another one to see if I can beat my time today (which hopefully won't be too hard, since I did a LOT of walking  )

I do not trust myself to try and add photos yet, so you can visit here to see my newest medal!

I encourage anyone who has been thinking about doing a 5K or a 10K to just go for it and see what happens! It is a great rush and the happy feelings will stay with you all day!

Here I am before the race began:

What a great experience!
