Has anybody ever done one of here workouts while wearing a step counter to compare what it says you've walked vs what the dvd says you've walked? Because of cerain moves and walking in place would it not add correctly anyway?
Thanks
Thanks

Indoor walking miles is not the same as outdoor miles. Leslie even make it known on one of her workout dvds that her miles aren't the same at outdoor miles. Her miles has something to do with the music. You can wear a pedometer if you want to, to see what you come up with after a workout.0

I have and walking with the dvd does not even come close to walking out doors, tread mill0

Pedometers take stride length into consideration when deciding what counts as a step. With walking in place, there is not a real forward stride. Hence, the numbers will never jive.0

Thanks. Was just curious how much of a difference there really is between doing that and walking at the park. I guess you get more distance at a park, but with the dvd you're adding arms more and such. I don't know which is better to do.0

Leslie's workouts are good and people have lost weight doing them. What I like about her workouts, she has people that have done her workouts and have lost weight in her videos. Try her workouts to see if they are for you. Check your library to see if they carry any. I like them.0

I love her dvds and I have lost weight when doing them. I have this new one that has a 1 mile, 2 mile, 3 mile, 4, mile and 5 mile workout on it. That way if you are in a hurry or tired you can do a light workout, if you have more time you can do a longer workout.
I have done the 5 mile one and it really gets my heart rate up and I am sweating by the time I am done. Its a great workout.
I agree with the other poster. I like that she uses the same people on some of her dvds and you can see the changes in their bodies as time goes on, I also enjoy the music. Also, you can use weights or a stretch band or not. She shows you how to modify the workouts.
Highly recommend these dvds.
Enjoy!

Either way, you're still getting in good exercise.0
