So, who is a baseball fanatic?

I need some cheering up after the Astros little meltdown that look too much like last season, last night. So let's all talk about other teams. As I hopefully watch mine win. haha

    Hey, don't hog all the sympathy; I just had to suffer two days in a row of Giants' pitching meltdowns and 5-4 losses to the Dbacks. :grumble:

    There's no chance in Hates that the Lastros will finish the season without 90+ loses. I expect them to lose 100+ again. Sad, too, because I'm a Lastros fan and a Red Sox fan. Looks like the Red Sox might start off like they did last year...poorly.

    Big-time baseball fan, here. I love my Pirates, but will watch any two teams play. I'm a season ticket holder and my seats are in the front row, right by first base.

    I was. It was a great game from beginning to end. Especially the end with Presley beating out that infield hit. Speed kills, every time. :)

    It was great to hear the Pirates fans and Philly phans going back and forth with the chants all night. It was a bunch of good-natured ribbing. Great atmosphere.

    yeah i saw it on tv. that was the 1st wild pitch cliff lee threw in 2 years i think. lol. phils offense couldn't get things going and yep, that speed won the game.

    I'm a huge Tigers fan. I love baseball season because I can go on the elliptical for like twice as long as usual during a game like it's nothing, I just lose track of time.

    I'm not even mad about it. Well, a little.

    But he has a better chance of a world series title with you guys, and that dude. Man he deserves it. Even though he's young, he did a lot for houston, and is a stand up guy.

    tigers & marlins, 2012 worls series..... 7 tough games. tigers are gonna have to bust out hte bats for sure to keep up with hanley and jose's base running. any pitcher that stuggles for the tigers this year should not be used due to contact and speed those 2 can do. tigers will pull it off in game 7 though... but only because they wont have to stuggle during the playoffs like the marlins will. the phills and braves will be a much greater challenge for them then the yanks and whoever will be for the tigers
