Hi all,
I am doing fairly well, sticking to my MFP calories and so far I've been reaching my weight loss goals. I've found a diet that I am very happy with as it meets my calorie needs and also keeps me satisfied.
However, today I realized when looking over the nutritional content of what I've been eating, that I eat three times the recommended amount of sugar--every day.
This comes from me eating Greek yogurt, dried fruit and maple/fruit oatmeals. I really love those foods and I would hate to give them up because of the sugar content.
So does anybody know what the effects are of eating three times the recommended sugar? Is this something I need to worry about yet, since I continue to lose weight?

personally i never worry about my sugar intake unless i know i am getting it from unhealthy sources.... like with eating fruit... fruit is good for you, but also full of sugar and full of carbs... if i go over on my carbs but it was from eating healthy fruit then i don't stress it... of course in a perfect world we would all stay under our macros, but we all know that can't always happen.0

I stopped tracking my sugar on here, it was always high, but it was from fruit and natural sources.0

Agree with previous posts. Because MFP doesn't break down sugars into categories, it is not of value to me. I eat yogurt and kefir which contain dairy sugars and I will often be over my "limit" after breakfast. I track it but in my head I automatically reduce it by the sugar from fruits and dairy products.0
